About Ethical Digital
Ethical Digital was conceived out of frustration with the way digital marketing specialists are often forced to do things we know won't work. We all want the ability to exercise some integrity and say "no, that's a bad idea, I will not sabotage this account." So founding principle number 1 is that every Ethical Digital Agent is their own boss, responsible for their own reputation.
Founding principle number 2 is radical decentralization. The problem with big agencies is that the decision-making is done by managers at the top while the expertise is at the bottom with the specialists who know the products inside and out. At the other end of the spectrum, the problem with small agencies and freelancers is that they lack the division of labor to do their jobs effectively.
Our solution to both problems is a decentralized business model where the specialists have a direct stake in the client's long-term success while Ethical Digital provides the administrative support they need to help the client. There's no upper-management pushing useless products and meaningless metrics. With everyone's incentives aligned and decisions in the hands of the experts, we are an innovation machine.

Ethical Digital is a network of marketing professionals around the globe, but a few of us play an administrative role.
Kevin Frei - CEO
Kevin is an entrepreneur, paid media specialist, and intermittent nomad from Arizona. Ethical Digital is his third startup after GoMusicals.com and an online traffic school company. An avid traveler and economics hobbyist, Kevin's goal is to revolutionize the way service companies are organized so that more people can achieve the dream of professional (and locational) independence.
Aaron Hazelett - COO
Aaron comes to Ethical Digital from the telecommunications industry where he managed business and teams on over a hundred cell tower projects. He holds a degree from ASU's School of Leadership and Management and has served as a business manager at a national non-profit as well as budget analyst and project construction manager at a startup with over five million per annum in revenue. Aaron plays country bass, can fix anything, and is the proud father of two small children with a third on the way.
DavidJohn Wyatt - CMO
DavidJohn is a performance marketing enthusiast and comes from sunny Southern California. He was trained by Google in 2010 and has worked as a specialist, analyst, and manager at all your favorite marketing agencies. He geeks out over good metrics and finds joy in delivering conspicuously high quality service for his clients. He's a family man who loves his garden, ballroom dancing, and great fiction. He's excited to bring the value of Ethical Digital to marketers and businesses of all kinds.
Derya Frei – Business Systems Analyst
Born in Ankara and raised in Istanbul, Derya studied labor economics before deciding to learn English and move to the States. She took a job in Florida selling remote control helicopters for a Turkish wholesaler where she learned the art of the sale (in addition to becoming an ace RC pilot). After earning an MBA from Webster College, she moved to Phoenix to work as a Business Systems Analyst at American Express. Now she is helping Ethical Digital implement the systems and processes necessary to scale.
